Hart Questioned Document Lab, Inc. was founded by Linda J. Hart in 1979 and grew to become one of the most well-known and respected institutions of its kind. In 1999, Dianne C. Flores joined the lab as Mrs. Hart's lab technician and would later be trained to become a Forensic Document Examiner. In 2008, Mrs. Flores took over the business and has continued Mrs. Hart's legacy of excellence.
Dianne C. Flores has a Master of Forensic Science Administration and a Graduate Certificate in the Examination of Questioned Documents. Mrs. Flores also completed training on printing processes at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She attends workshops and continuing education courses on a regular basis.
Since becoming president of Hart & Flores Questioned Document Laboratory, Inc., she has conducted examinations in over 1000 cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Dianne Flores is certified by the Board of Forensic Document Examiners, one of only two accredited by the Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board.
Mrs. Flores has testified in both State and Federal proceedings in criminal and civil matters throughout Florida and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
She has conducted signature training for employees of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Miami-Dade County, as well as for The Miami-Dade County and Duval Counties Elections Departments. Florida International University retained Mrs. Flores to teach beginning document examiners from the Dominican Republic. Dianne Flores belongs to the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the Southeastern Association of Forensic Document Examiners.

The laboratory contains a Video Spectral Comparator (VSC) for Infrared/ UV/ Transmitted Light document analysis; two high magnification microscopes; an Electrostatic Detection Apparatus (ESDA) to record latent writing impressions; a digital measuring tool; various hand magnifiers; scanners; printers and Dichroic Filters. Each computer is also equipped with the latest software including Photoshop, Pagemaker, and Write-On to assist the examiner during the examination process.

All examinations in this laboratory are in accordance with accepted methodology in the field of document examination, and following industry-wide standards published by the Scientific Working Group for Forensic Document Examination (SWGDOC).
Documents are handled with the utmost care from the moment they arrive at our laboratory. Original pages are photocopied and/or scanned one at a time by both the document examiner and the laboratory technician. Originals are securely stored in a fire safe while in our possession.
